…you are absolutely awesome. Thank you.
When my wife’s water broke at 6:55 that morning she was eight weeks early. As any first time mother (and father) would be, she was unsure of what was going on and extremely worried and scared about this early and unexpected event.
When you saw me run that first stop light you sounded your siren chirps and I slowed. You pulled up next to me and I saw the anger in your face. You were about to bust my ass. I motioned a big rounded belly on my body the best that I could so you could see it, and pointed to my wife in the passenger seat. I saw it click on your face immediately.
I’d like to think that at that split second you put it all together when you saw my strange gesture, the distress on mine and my wife’s face, the two empty car seats in the back, and the hospital a couple miles ahead. You then gave me a thumbs up and motioned furiously with your hands “Go, go, go!”
