Anti-gun Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (NV) is giving voters yet another reason why he must be defeated in November. Preparing for heavy losses in the general election, anti-gun Democrat leaders like Reid and Charles Schumer (D-NY) appear to be readying for a vote on the so-called DISCLOSE Act, possibly this week. Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission expected to approve the practice on Thursday Milwaukee police officers who retire to Arizona and Florida can easily get permits to carry hidden guns in those states, just like most other residents. Soon, hundreds of former MPD officers in Wisconsin also could be able to carry concealed weapons, under a federal law that allows retired officers to be certified annually and carry their guns in any state. CeaseFirePA was cited supporting the "lost or stolen" gun ordinances meant to punish gun owners who the agency wants to claim as "straw purchasers." Indeed, a number of communities, including Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, have managed to get temporary decisions allowing those communities to enact those ordinances. There is one problem: Local officials do not have the power to do so. The reason is found in the Pennsylvania Uniformed Firearms Act of 1995.
