The U.S. Supreme Court has been, of late, restoring Second Amendment rights taken away by states and cities — specifically in the overturning of handgun prohibitions in the Heller case out of Washington, D.C., and the McDonald case from Chicago.
But at what age does the constitutional right to own and carry a handgun accrue?

The presentation featured two speakers from the NRA talking about gun rights, political action and how college students can get involved.

When the new Congress convenes in January, the House of Representatives will almost certainly have an even larger pro Second Amendment majority than it does today. How much larger? If “N” is the net Republican gain, expect that the net pro gun gain will be slightly smaller than 1/2N.

City Councilmember Dan Halloran is outraged by a proposed rule amendment to the city’s gun licensure regulations that would allow the NYPD to revoke or deny a firearm license to applicants.
“The NYPD’s rule amendment would allow the city to deny a gun license to almost any law abiding New Yorker, and for downright silly reasons,” said Halloran.
