Post a CommentAuthorities charge gun owner with brandishing his finger

Paul Henick arrested for BRANDISHING FIREARM in Chesterfield, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports. Aside from a photo and a link to past news accounts, where it is learned Mr. Henick is a gun rights/open carry advocate, no further details of the arrest are presented. For those, an account is presented on the OpenCarry.org forum that, if substantiated, presents serious concerns about security, police and prosecutorial misconduct. The incident reportedly began as Henick attempted to take the Surrey (Jamestown-Scotland) Ferry when a private contractor working for VDOT to ensure security ordered [him] to get out of his car. When the contractor refused…

October. 20th 2010
Various news sources, including The Heartland Connection, are reporting that Ottmwa has decided to NOT bring up a proposed anti-gun ordinance at tonight's City Council meeting. This was originally reported in my Examiner column yesterday. While that is good news, there is a wrinkle the ordinance change hasn't been killed. According to sources in Ottumwa, it's been tabled with the option to bring it back up for consideration a later date. Gun rights advocates can be pleased with the decision to table the change. Ottumwa needs to realize that despite their best efforts to hide the true intention of…

We have a new attorney that we are working with ( not new to the practice of law, but new to our network) and he is offering some very competitive prices on the NFA trust ( as much as 1/2 off the previous lawyers pricing). If you are interested in an Alaska Gun Trust contact us to find out more and begin the process.

(GunReports.com) — While the City of Chicago is currently in federal court stubbornly defending its new gun ordinance, data reveals that the city’s United Center Park is the most dangerous neighborhood in the country, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said today.’The city’s new gun ordinance is deliberately designed to discourage citizens from obtaining handguns for personal protection,’ noted CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, ‘yet today’s news reveals citizens in at least one Windy City neighborhood are in desperate need of the training and tools to defend themselves.
